The fifth case for Leo Wechsler. Berlin 1927: During a fashion show at the "Romanisches Café", two ladies in the demonstration are injured: Their dresses have been prepared with a contact poison. Apparently a targeted attack against the fashion salon "Morgenstern & Fin", the rising star in the Berlin fashion sky. Is a competitor behind it? Shortly afterwards, a dead man is found in Schöneberg. A brochure of the fashion salon is discovered in his flat. Leo Wechsler, now chief inspector at the Berlin CID, takes up the investigation.
