For the first time, the decorations of the US Armed Forces are presented here in German in a collectors' catalogue. The decorations and medals are arranged by branch of the armed forces. Medals awarded to all branches of the armed forces are also presented; readers can find these under the heading "All Services", whereas the branch-specific medals have been classified under the respective abbreviation.

New additions are the future medals of the newly formed U.S. Space Force, which was commissioned in 2019 under Donald Trump as the sixth branch of the armed forces. In the compilation, attention was paid primarily to the date of the foundation rather than its value. Furthermore, the work contains a general overview for each branch of the armed forces in which order the decorations are worn on the uniforms. The reader will find 580 colour illustrations on 230 pages, which provide a comprehensive overview of this area of phaleristics.
