A comprehensive and very richly illustrated documentation on the airfields established by the Allies in France in the course of the Normandy landings and the subsequent operations between June and September 1944. Divided into the airfields of the Royal Air Force and those of the U.S. Army Air Force, the volume presents a total of 50 air bases and the units stationed there together with their aircraft.
