Description
Swedish jets are known for their unique profile and the Saab Draken is a perfect example of that. The Draken is a compact fighter jet that was in service with the air forces of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Austria for 45 years.
This book was made possible thanks to the help of two organisations that preserve Saab Drakens: The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight and the Danish Team Karup. The former operates Drakens in airworthy condition, while the latter has managed to save several jets
from being scrapped.
An extensive chapter is included on the cockpit of the Saab Draken. Different types have different cockpits - of course the two seat training version isn't forgotten.
