Business Jets International (BJI) is now in its 40th year of publication and is an important reference work in this field. The 2025 edition covers over 33,000 airframes in its comprehensive production lists, from the earliest Morane-Saulnier Paris and Lockheed Jetstars of the 1950s to the latest Falcon 6X and Gulfstream G700 and G800. Projects that never made it past the prototype stage or are still in development are covered in a short section on experimental and non-production aircraft. The unique index system, which includes nearly 130,000 registrations, covers all known individual registrations of business aircraft from the past 68 years, listed in order of registration with cross-references to type and serial number, with currently active markings in bold. For the sake of completeness, a production list and index for the Gulfstream I have also been included, as well as lists for corporate aircraft such as the Airbus family, Boeing BBJs, Canadair Challenger 800 and 850, Dornier 328, and Embraer Legacy and Lineage. As the 2024 edition had reached the maximum number of pages for a hardcover book, a two-column format was chosen this year to make optimal use of space. The font size was also increased slightly.
