Leading Italian aero-historian and researcher Gregory Alegi has the full story of this classic fighting flying boat that enjoyed such a phenomenally lengthy and active career from 1918 to the 1930s. Serving with several nations in the post-WWI years, examples of this speedy flying boat were also entered into Schneider Trophy races. Both M.7 and M.7ter versions are fully described in our 162nd DATAFILE with detailed 1:48 and 1:72 scale drawings for each. The new monograph contains over 70 rare archive photos ,colour images of a rare survivor undergoing restoration in Sweden, plus six highly diverse and colourful profiles from Ronny Bar. Gregory's latest study is topped off by Roberto Zanella's stirring front cover painting.

Colour photos document the few surviving examples of this flying boat from the interwar period.
