Volume 65 of the aircraft booklet series "Monographs" offers a technical and operational history of the British biplane fighter Gloster "Gladiator" from the time of World War II. The publication looks at the Mk. I and Mk. II variants as well as the "Sea Gladiator", the model for the Royal Navy's air force. On the first pages, the reader will find a description of the development and operational history of this last biplane fighter of the British Air Force, illustrated with contemporary b/w photos. The second part of the volume consists entirely of colour oblique views of various components and areas of the aircraft. Much of the interior of the aircraft, the fuselage construction, and innumerable exterior details are depicted in this manner.
