Description
Author and illustrator Dennis Oliver is joined in this title by renowned military artist Stephen Andrew to showcase the men and armoured vehicles that held the German lines in the Netherlands through 1944 and 1945.
Title number eight includes
- 13 pages of brilliantly rendered and painstakingly researched colour artwork by Dennis Oliver and guest artist Stephen Andrew
- Black and white period photographs sourced from the worlds major archives and private collections
- Background history
- Detailed orders of battle and tables of organisation
- Campaign maps and diagrams
Each book in this series is an invaluable resource for the modeller, military enthusiast and general reader.
This book is based around our usual format of 13 full colour pages and features 5 plates of uniform an insignia details in addition to illustrations of 24 different armoured vehicles. The illustrations are complemented by black and white archive photographs, maps, orders of battle and background history. I should point out that we've deliberately kept the narrative of the Arnhem battles brief, preferring to concentrate on the less well known aspects of the fighting that took place from September 1944 until May 1945.
