The most important sources and facts about the history of the Führerbunker - from the start of construction in 1935 to the present. Eyewitness accounts of the last weeks, photos and detailed plans show the location and life in the bunker under the Reich Chancellery. The dictator's return to Berlin in January 1945 and his suicide on 30 April 1945 are the focus of "Hitler's End in the Führerbunker".
The book describes the haunting life in the Führerbunker. Plans and photos illustrate how this bunker came into being, the "stage" it provided for the last "drama" of National Socialism, how it was discovered by Soviet medical orderlies and how the GDR tried to remove it in the 1980s. The book is a revised new edition of the book "Mythos Führerbunker", which has been published in numerous editions since 2003 and is now out of print.
