Completely revised new version of the second volume in the series "Military History Jüterbog 1972-2014". It deals with the Reichswehr from its emergence in the turmoil of the November Revolution to the transition to the German Wehrmacht. The 1920s were marked by extremely contradictory domestic and foreign policies. A brief chronicle of the history of the time is intended to illustrate how the victorious powers dealt with the German Reich and how the state, society and military reacted to it. Jüterbog was also an important setting for this, as shown in the book. Important changes in the Jüterbog garrison then occurred in the summer of 1933, with the creation of a new German air force and the establishment of various paramilitary organisations, including the future Waffen-SS.
