Description
At the height of the Seven Years' War, the British made a bold strike against the heart of the Spanish colonies in the Caribbean. Composed of units from Britain and Canada, the assault force crossed the Atlantic in secret and took the Spanish in Havana completely by surprise. After fierce fighting, the defences in the El Moro area fell and Havana, the crown of the Spanish colonial empire in the Caribbean, was now in British hands.
