1812 - The image of war as seen by the participants. It is a collection of paintings from Russian museums. These paintings are united by the fact that contemporaries of the War of 1812, such as Albrecht Adam, Faber du Faur and many others, recorded the events they saw with their own eyes. Today, the paintings hang in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, the Pushkin Museum, the State Historical Museum, the Russian State Library and other exhibitions.
