This issue of "Nuts & Bolts" is dedicated to the medium off-road trucks (o) of the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht. The development of these vehicles began in the second half of the 1920s. They shaped the image of the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht in the 1930s. The war, with its sometimes very different theatres, put these vehicles under stresses for which they were not designed. Nevertheless, many of these trucks served until the end of the war. Today, only a few vehicles of this type have survived.
