Louis-Pierre Montbrun (b. 1 March 1770 at Florensac; 7 September 1812 at Borodino) was a French general and one of Napoleon I's better-known cavalry leaders in the Coalition Wars. E.g. at the Battle of Regensburg in 1809. On 30 November 1808, he led one of the most famous cavalry charges in the Coalition Wars at the Battle of Somosierra.
