British Staff Officer at Waterloo. DelPrado, Cavalry Series No. 107. SNC108. The Battle of Waterloo of 18 June 1815 was Napoleon Bonaparte's last battle. It took place about 15 km south of Brussels near the village of Waterloo, which was then part of the Kingdom of the United Netherlands and is now in Belgium. The fighting against France involved soldiers from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, United Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kingdom of Hanover, Duchy of Brunswick, Duchy of Nassau Nassau and the Kingdom of Prussia.
