LOCK N LOAD - Weathering Rechargable Technical Pencil

The new LOCK & LOAD mechanical pencil and the 13 lead colors included in this set will revolutionize the way you apply weathering effects thanks how easy is to use and clean, and the precise control in the application it provides.
Chipping and scuff marks, dust, dirt and grime, streaking, soot, rust, fading, metallic effects, chalk markings and graffiti, and panel line shading are just some of the many different effects that the LOCK & LOAD system will allow you to create with ease, but as you go using them, you will discover many more possibilities.
The application is extremely simple and intuitive: the lead is pre-sharpened, so you just need to draw the effect and feather or blend it with a brush dampened with water, or wet the tip of the lead and apply the effect wet, and then adjust it using a damp brush as necessary. It can be easily removed with water if you're not satisfied with the result.
We recommended to use them on a matte surface, as it provides more grip for a better result. They can be used to create the final weathering effects, but you can also protect the effects spraying a thin layer of varnish if you intend to apply other wet weathering techniques with water or thinners on top.
These watercolors will be of great help not only for beginners, who will appreciate their ease of use and cleaning, but also for more experienced modelers who will be able to fully exploit the endless possibilities offered by the LOCK & LOAD system.
