In doing so, the authors draw on an extensive pool of original images, which have been reproduced in very good quality. Contemporary b/w and colour photographs as well as current photographs of uniform items, parts of the pilots' equipment as well as orders and insignia give a very good view of the complete outfits of the German pilots and aircrews in World War II.
