HERPA miniature models For the love of detail Herpa Miniaturmodelle GmbH is the market and innovation leader for especially true-to-the-original, sophisticated car, truck and aircraft models in exact scales of e.g. 1:87, 1:200 and 1:500. By cooperating with renowned car and aircraft manufacturers as well as leading companies in the transport and logistics industry, Herpa creates a diverse product range of both modern and historical prototypes. The current Herpa collection comprises more than 1,500 available models, which are delivered to the customer via model retailers or an international dealer network. Around 200 employees work at Herpa\'s headquarters in Dietenhofen, Franconia. In addition to the development, production, warehouse, administration and sales departments, the Herpa Miniature Museum with its own sales exhibition is also located here. Another 50 employees work at the Herpa factory in Hungary. Herpa was founded in 1949 by Wilhelm Hergenröther and is now owned by Prince Andreas zu Leiningen.
