The book series presents the history of the reconnaissance units of the "Military Assistant Command Vietnam. Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), OPS-35 (ground reconnaissance), is illustrated in chronological order from its inception to its decommissioning. The men who served in the unit have contributed with first-hand interviews, provided never-before-seen period images, and described the history of the group: who they served with, what reconnaissance missions were conducted, what tactics were used, and how the group's insignia was designed. The book is supplemented by the help of team members and collectors who have provided wartime artefacts worn or used by the veterans. Items previously only read about have been professionally photographed and can now be seen in colour. The 15th volume of this series covers the history of the following reconnaissance groups: Anaconda (CCN), Connecticut (CCN), Montana (CCC), Storter (CCC) and Wisconsin (FOB 3).
