Beschreibung
Ed "Big Daddy" Roth war ein amerikanischer Künstler, Cartoonist, Illustrator, Designer von Spezialfahrzeugen, Pinstriper und Konstrukteur. Er schuf die Hot Rod-Ikone Rat Fink und andere Fink-Figuren. Roth war eine Schlüsselfigur der Kustom Kulture und der Hot Rod-Bewegung in Südkalifornien in den späten 1950er und 1960er Jahren. In der August-Ausgabe 1959 von Car Craft wurden seine mit Airbrush-Technik gefertigten Weirdo-Hemden zu einer regelrechten Modeerscheinung. Seine vielen echten Show Rod-Kreationen wurden zu einigen der beliebtesten Modellbausätze von Revell.
Drag Nut Monster kann allein stehen oder in seinem Hot Rod positioniert werden. Das Modell wird in weißer Farbe mit Metallachsen und rollenden Rädern geliefert und enthält eine kleine Rattenfink-Figur zur Vervollständigung der Szene. Atlantis.

By the August 1959 issue of Car Craft, his airbrushed Weirdo shirts had become a full-blown craze. His many real Show Rod creations would become some of Revell's most popular model kits.
