The term "ensign" is derived from this. The ensigns would gather around the flag bearer on the command "Stream in heaps!". The ensigns then marched up to form force clusters or meetings. In these heaps, which were about 50 members deep, the individual could not see what was happening in front and what the reason for each movement was. So he directed his movement according to the movements of his flag, which he knew well.
The series contains all flags that appeared in the series 100/25/... 2 times each.

Series list for 100/25/224
No. 100-793 a (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer, flag shouldered
No. 100-864 a (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer
No. 100-710 b (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer, waving cloth
No. 100-796 b (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer
No. 100-845 b (2x) Landsknecht flag bearer, flag lowered
No. 100-846 b (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer, flag waving
No. 100-766 a (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer with iron helmet, flag shouldered
No. 100-767 a (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer, flag shouldered
No. 100-776 a (2x) Landsknecht standard bearer

The condemned soldier was stripped to the waist and had to pass between a double row (hence also known as die Gasse, "the alley") of cudgeling or switching comrades. A subaltern walked in front of him with a blade to prevent him from running. The condemned might sometimes also be dragged through by a rope around the hands or prodded along by a pursuer.
Special figures only. Moreover, the warlord naturally hoped for a short war, while the lansquenet hoped for the longest possible war. On average, a lansquenet received 4 guilders a month. Double mercenaries, drummers and pipers received 8 guilders, the field officer received 400 guilders.
With the pay, the lansquenet bought everything he could not take by force. Gambling, gluttony, drinking bouts and other amusements quickly diverted the money into his hands. A whole army of merchants, jugglers, swindlers, loot buyers, sutlers and whores looked forward to the pay as much as he did.
If the warlord could not pay, they looked for new service. Sometimes whole regiments defected to the enemy and re-enlisted. If there was peace, they travelled the country stealing, robbing and begging in search of a new profitable war as "gardening servants". If one was on the "Gart", one could of course end up on the gallows faster than die in battle.
Our series shows various lansquenets, the "Feldweibel" reading out the list, the "Pfennigmeister" and the scribe at the table, the money chest and the armour wagon with cash box.
The series "Fähnlein im Halt" 100/25/200 fits this for expansion.

Series list for 100/25/205
No. 100-859 a (1x) Cash (setup) trolley
No. 100-764 a (1x) Penny master and clerk at the table, paying wages
No. 100-784 b (1x) Landsknecht with a sword
No. 100-784 a (1x) Landsknecht, hooked rifle placed on the ground in front of him
No. 100-785 b (1x) Landsknecht, bipod shouldered
No. 100-742 a (1x) Landsknecht with shouldered halberd, beret on his back
No. 100-785 a (1x) Landsknecht, hooked rifle under left arm
No. 100-743 a (1x) Landsknecht, with hooked rifle and iron helmet
No. 100-786 a (1x) Landsknecht, hooked rifle shouldered
No. 100-744 a (1x) Landsknecht, without polearm
No. 100-794 a (1x) Landsknecht with 2 polearms
No. 100-758 a (1x) Landsknecht, holding spike/halberd crosswise
No. 100-799 a (1x) Landsknecht
No. 100-759 a (1x) Landsknecht, spike/halberd shouldered
No. 100-800 a (1x) Landsknecht, waving a money-cat
No. 100-762 a (1x) Landsknecht, receiving pay, with beret on back
No. 100-856 a (1x) Money chest with berets laid out
No. 100-763 a (1x) Field scribe, reading from a list

Weapons had to be brought along, knowledge of the craft of war was assumed and was not so necessary for the simple pikeman. No one asked where from or where to. It went without saying that one fought only for pay and booty. Thus, of course, all kinds of brutal riff-raff fell under the banner, who knew nothing but war and did not take the oath of allegiance to the Articles of Association too seriously.

Our series shows such a muster. After registration in the muster roll, the colourful journeymen stride to the muster parade through a yoke of two halberds and a spit. Due to the lack of the money promised by Emperor Charles V, Georg von Frundsberg could not pay off the mercenaries in his wages. This leads to riots in the army. The indignant mercenaries mutiny and form a ring.
Our series shows this dramatic episode in two scenes (special characters only):
The speech: The angry German mercenaries have formed a ring around Frundsberg, loudly vent their outrage and demand their overdue pay. Georg von Frundsberg, supported by Fähnleinhauptmann Seidensticker and the Prince of Orange, tried with all his authority to calm the mutinous crowd.
The stroke: Excited to the extreme by the commotion, Georg von Frundsberg suffers a stroke. Captain von Seidensticker and Prince of Orange support the collapsing man. The mercenaries standing in the ring shrink back in shock when they notice the misfortune. They didn't want that. Frundsberg dies a year later in his ancestral home in Mindelheim.
Note: Many figures from the series 100/25/200, 100/25/201, 100/25/216, 100/25/218, 100/25/219, 100/25/221, 100/25 / 107.

Series list for 100/25/226
No. 100-616 b (1x) Faehnlein-Hauptmann, with Bihaender (Klaus Seidensticker)
No. 100-626 b (1x) Field Captain
No. 100-617 b (1x) Field Captain, with sword, (Prince of Orange)
No. 100-627 b (2x) Landsknecht, mutineer restrained
No. 100-618 b (1x) Field Captain, with article roll
No. 100-628 b (2x) Landsknecht
No. 100-740 a (1x) Landsknecht, with detached weapon
No. 100-619 b (2x) Landsknecht with jug
No. 100-629 b (2x) Landsknecht
No. 100-741 a (1x) Landsknecht, with detached weapon
No. 100-620 b (2x) Landsknecht, mutinous
No. 100-898 a (1x) Landsknecht marksman (crossbow/rifle)
No. 100-623 b (2x) Landsknecht drummer, mutinous
No. 100-621 b (2x) Landsknecht, mutinous
No. 100-622 b (2x) Landsknecht, mutinous
No. 100-615 b (1x) Georg von Frundsberg, hands raised
No. 100-625 b (1x) Frundsberg, supported by 2 captains (K.
