During World War II, the German armed forces occupied a huge part of the European mainland. This included the coast from northern Norway to the coast of the Peloponnese and the Black Sea coast in the occupied USSR. This entire coast had to be guarded and defended. The capacity of German patrol vessels, including the captured ones, was not enough for this task. Therefore, based on the requirements of the OKM, the Kriegsfischkutter patrol boat, abbreviated as KFK, was developed. Because the need for these ships was enormous, large-scale production began in both German shipyards and shipyards in occupied Europe. 42 shipyards in seven countries were involved. It was the largest naval project of the Third Reich. Over 1,000 ships were ordered, and 612 were delivered by the end of the war. KFKs were assigned to many Marinegruppenkommando along the entire European coast. Within these commands, they were assigned to the relevant flotillas. They were first deployed in 1943 and fought intensively on all European seas until the end of the war. 554 ships out of a total of 612 built were used in combat and 135 of them were sunk in combat. A large number of KFKs were captured at the end of the war and were used at least briefly in many military navies. After the war, KFKs were also used in Germany during the dangerous mine clearance of the Baltic and North Sea.
The plastic model of this ship consists of a total of ten sprues of plastic parts. One of them is made of clear plastic. Decals and instructions are provided for one German KFK. The hull of the kit is 32 cm long and 9 cm wide.

The Biber was one of the weapon systems developed during the Second World War at the time when the situation on both fronts was gradually becoming worse and worse for Germany. In 1943 it became clear that the Allied invasion would take place soon somewhere on the Atlantic coast of the continent and the German military began to seek and develop new and rather unorthodox weapons to avert the invasion. Along the Neger, Marder and Hai manned torpedoes, also the Biber and Molch midget submarines were to stop the invasion fleet.
The original idea of the Biber sub came from Korvettenkapitän Robert Bartels and first prototypes were built and the production took place at Flanderwerke in Lübeck, the development being led by Hermann Bunte. Allegedly, Bartels was influenced by captured British Welman W46 midget sub. The Bibers displacement was 6.6 tonnes, on the surface it was powered by a 32 hp Otto Blitz petrol engine and while submerged, the propulsion was provided by a Siemens SSW GL231 electric motor. The Biber could submerge down to 20 m, in emergency to 30 m. It could carry either two G7e torpedoes or mines. The hull was so diminutive that its operator (only a crew of one was possible) did not have much space in the conning tower.
The Biber prototype, known also as Adam, was put to tests on 29 March 1944, though the tests were not quite successful and several improvements had to be implemented before German admiral Karl Dönitz approved building of further four prototype Bibers and later also the large scale production, which gave a total of 324 Bibers from Flanderwerke, Ansaldo and Klökner-Humbolt-Deutz plants.
Bibers were put into so-called K-flottillen numbered 1 to 9, which saw action in the English Channel during the Allied invasion, in the North Sea off Norway, in the Scheldt estuary and also in the river Waal during the attack on the Nijmegen bridge. Bibers did not enjoy much success in the torpedo-carrying role, mine-laying missions suited them better. Some trouble also occured due to the exhaust fumes getting into the operators station and many Bibers were lost just to this reason. The conning tower lacked in height causing the submarine pilot, who was equipped only with wrist compass, difficulties in finding his way to the target. Moreover, the Biber although being rather manoeuvrable and stable on the surface, was clumsy while under the water. Several Biber submarines were captured during the war, but the Allies did not seem to find interest in them and tested them only very briefly. Some of the surviving machines have been put to display in museums.
The kit is 3D designed and injection moulded using metal moulding blocks. The kits components come on two grey styrene sprues and one with clear parts. The A sprue offers the fuselage halves, B sprue has the torpedoes. The decal sheet brings markings for four overall grey Bibers and one bearing a camouflage scheme consisting of four colours. The latter and also one grey Biber were also decorated with a shark mouth. The rest of the machines in the kit have only numbers on the tower.

And as we did not have more than a thousand of those fragments, there was left nothing to sell after less than a month's time. We still believe, though, that the F-84F in Luftwaffe livery will be widely seek after by many a modeller, and so we are going to release this SH72510 kit that replaces that really fast sold out SH72505. The sheet of decals and boxart are left the same, now it includes a pre-cut mask as well as a set of 3D-printed parts enabling the builder to have the nose machine gun compartment open.
- very interesting colour schemes
- masks and 3D-printeddetailing parts
- highly accurate model with superb fit throughout

The undercarriage as well as some minor details on the engine nacelles were of a different style, too.
A kit of this plane was already offered in our Condor range long time ago. Now it is going to get back, after almost a decade - with a new sheet of decals and resin air intake parts which were not included in the original kit. The kit marking schemes offer three various machines, two grey overall and one wearing the standard Luftwaffe splinter scheme - this one has been based on a couple of photos taken at Prague-Ruzyne airfield.

- unusual version of an unusual aircraft
- interesting, so far unknown scheme
- separately sold spray masks

The deployment of the new German Fw 190 fighter in 1941 not only brought the rather hasty development of new versions of the Spitfire fighter, but also accelerated the introduction of the new Hawker Typhoon Mk.I fighters into regular service. The introduction of the Typhoons was very complicated and, since it soon became clear that the Typhoon had certain limitations as a fighter, Hawker's chief designer, Sydney Camm, began the development of an improved version. Due to the number of changes, this new fighter was named Tempest. And it became one of the best fighters of World War II.
The plastic parts are broken down into eight sprues of grey plastic and one clear parts sprue, joined with 3D printed radar parts and radiator protection, combining 3D printed parts and etches. The surface of large parts is covered with fine rivets. Detailed colour instructions in A4 format will guide you through the construction of the model. The instructions and two decal sheets offer a choice of four Tempest colour schemes, depicting machines whose pilots achieved V-1 missile kills. These are American, New Zealander, British and Polish. The G.50bis version was a response to earlier Italian fighter types that lacked in their performance compared to modern fighters of their opponents. Some of the Fiat fighters were also fitted with a pair of underwing pylons so that they could be used in the ground attack role too. At the same time it was also planned to deploy the Fiat G.50bis/N fighter with an arrestor hook on the currently being built Aquila and Sparviero aircraft carriers, this however never materialised as the carriers were never finished.
Our model kit comes on four styrene sprues, it also contains a clear plastic canopy, detail 3D-printed and resin parts (among which is also an excellent replica of the Fiat A.74 powerplant) and a fret of etched parts. The fighter bomber or the navalized G.50bis/N type can be built using this kit.

- interesting versions never kitted before
- colourful schemes
- superbly detailed model
- clear parts pre-cut masks, resin wheels and pilot figure also separately available for this kit

Not long before the outbreak of WW2, France ordered the then newly developed DB-7 light bombers from the Douglas company in the USA. Some machines, powered by P&W R-1830 engines and fitted with a narrow and short tail fin, were actually received and deployed in combat in 1940. The French machines went on flying and fighting until 1945, sometimes also switching sides. Before its defeat in 1940, France was not able to take over all of the ordered machines so some of them went to Britain instead where they were operated as the Havoc Mk.I bombers. Next machines, which were powered with the Wright R-2600 and known as the Havoc Mk.II / Boston Mk.III followed. The first Havoc Mk.I versions flew in the light bomber role and were not equipped with a specialised night radar. The night flying Intruder machines were used to attack enemy's airfields at night, while those of the airframes fitted with a radar, were used to defend the night skies over Britain.
Our DB-7 Havoc Mk.I Intruders kit set offers three all-black painted Intruder machines fitted with night exhausts and one bomber machine in a special test colour scheme. These machines were used by a couple of British ace pilots to achieve their first victories and were also used by Polish crews. There is one important thing associated with the Havoc exhausts - and that we learned about only after finishing the kit moulding tools. All the reference materials and scale drawings that we had, including those published in 2024, show engine exhaust only on the outboard side of the engine nacelles. While researching the camouflage schemes, it became clear that it is one of the long time repeated errors as the DB-7/Havoc Mk.I airframes did have the exhausts stacks on either side of the nacelles, ie on the outboard as well as on the inboard side. And so, our latest kit contains two pairs of night exhausts as well as two pairs of standard ones and also correction parts for the cowling flaps. The future release kits will already have the nacelle / exhaust area corrected. We are also going to prepare correction set for Azur/Frrom's FR0052 kit.
