The colours of Metal Color can be mixed with each other and immediately further processed with glazes, pigments, dry brushing or other ageing techniques. "Metal Color" is a range of 17 water-based metal colours specially designed for use with the airbrush. In the development of this new and innovative range, latest generation aluminium pigments and a special formula have been used to obtain colours with outstanding resistance and adhesion to plastic and metal. The colours can be applied directly to the model without primer. However, it is advisable to apply a black high gloss primer first in aircraft modelling and large surfaces to bring out the unique and special quality of these colours.

Surface Primer is available in a range of base colors, the most commonly used to prepare the surface of the model or miniature before painting. Primers can be applied to all surfaces: resin, PVC, brass, white metal, or wood. The primer preserves even the smallest detail of a model and improves the adhesion of the paints applied to this base. It is recommended to apply the primer in several coats; the product dries quickly and forms a uniform film of exceptional strength and durability within a few hours of application. Surface Primer can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner Flow Improver. Recommended air pressure settings are approximately 15-20 PSI or 0.5-1 kg. For optimal airbrush care, we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

A acrylic-polyurethane primer, which dries quickly to the touch and confers a glossy, self leveling base coat of extraordinary resistance. When usingmasking tape, it is recommended to allow the primer tocure for some 12 hours before beginning the masking pricess.

Glossy lacquer, especially for airbrush. Apply directly or dilute with thinner 340/71261 if desired. Fast drying. If applying several coats, it is recommended to wait 30 minutes between each application of further coats.
The gloss varnish protects the colours against oil paints, varnish, turpentine oil and even cleaning with alcohol.
