We are pleased to present our second vehicle for our new Battle of Kursk series, KUR002 German Panzer III N der 2. The German Panzer III N played a limited but notable role in the Battle of Kursk in 1943. The Panzer III series, particularly the Panzer III N, was part of the earlier German armoured fleet used during the battle, although it had been largely overtaken by more advanced Soviet tanks such as the T-34 and the KV-1. The Panzer III N was a late modification of the Panzer III, equipped with a 75mm short-barrel gun (KwK 37) that was more effective against infantry and soft targets than against heavily armoured enemy tanks.

During the Battle of Kursk, the Panzer III N was mainly used to support infantry, artillery and lighter Soviet vehicles. Due to its limited armour and firepower, it was less effective in direct tank-to-tank combat, especially against Soviet armoured forces. The German offensive during the battle was hampered by the overwhelming numbers and quality of Soviet forces, and the Panzer III N's impact was overshadowed by more advanced tanks such as the Panther and Tiger. Our version has full side and turret skirts for improved armour protection, which are fully configurable for a variety of display options.

The model is made of various materials (resin, metal, plastic, brass, photo-etched parts, etc...) and has the following features:

We are pleased to present the first vehicle in our new Battle of Kursk series, KUR001 German Panzer III M of the 6th Panzer Division. During the Battle of Kursk in July 1943, the Panzer III M, a variant of the Panzer III of the 6th Panzer Division, played an important role in the fierce fighting between German and Soviet troops. Equipped with a more powerful 50 mm gun than earlier versions, the Panzer III M was used in attempts to break through the Soviet defences during the German offensive. Despite its improved armament, the Panzer III M faced considerable difficulties due to increasingly effective Soviet defences, including anti-tank weapons and the formidable T-34 tanks. The battle of Kursk highlighted the evolution of armoured warfare and the need for continuous adaptation of tank design and tactics.
