This set includes eight colours for Finnish Air Force pre-war paint schemes used on imported and locally produced aircraft during the period from 1933 to approximately 1942. By late 1943 use of camouflage by USAAF was mostly abandoned in favour of natural metal livery. In cases it was still applied, new colours were used - ANA 613 Olive Drab (lighter shade) over ANA 603 Sea Grey (more blueish tint).

From 1942 RAF fighters operating in South-East Asia after delivery in a new Day Fighter Scheme (DG+OG/MSG), had the Ocean Grey colour locally overpainted with Dark Earth. In April 1944 it became an official scheme for SEAC aircraft.

In 1944 Luftwaffe adopted several new colours - RLM 83 was most probably a replacement of RLM 74 in previous RLM 74+75/76 scheme, as simplified RLM 75/76 proved not effective against air attacks. It was officially used till August 1944.
