The Soviet-manufactured fire support weapons and their licence and unofficial copies were delivered to a plethora of countries during the Cold War and thou- sands of them remain in service around the world until the present day. The DShKM 12,7 mm heavy machine gun is undoubtly the most famous of them and only the American M2 Browning matches its popularity. Interestingly, both these heavy machine guns were designed prior to World War 2. Although not as famous as the "Dushka", the SPG-9 73 mm recoilless gun was also employed in numerous conflicts since its introduction into service in 1962 and can still be spotted in the footages from the modern warfare.

The AK35005 set combines accurate and detailed renditions of both these weapons coupled with the necessary tripods. Also included in this set are a vehicle post mount which can be used for the chosen gun, spare ammunition belts and projectiles and a number of different ammunition boxes. This offers the modeller a multitude of possibilities for using the components of the set as vehicle armament or stowage, diorama accessories or even the main parts of a small scene depicting almost every conflict that happened during the last few dozens of years.

The M1008 is the basic cargo truck variant of the first family of light military utility vehicles manufactured by General Motors since World War II. The first generation of GMs vehicles developed under the CUCV (Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle) program was based on the civilian Chevrolet C/K series and, apart from the M1008 pickup, included the M1009 utility vehicle, M1010 ambulance, M1028 shelter carriers and M1031 chassis-cab model. Nearly 75000 vehicles were manufactured between 1983 and 1987, most of which were delivered to the US Army (68210); the reminder went to the USAAF (3578 vehicles), US Marine Corps (2973) and US Navy (504).

They served with the US forces around the world, participating in the Gulf War and United Nations operation in Somalia. Although their withdrawal from US forces started in 1994, several CUCV remained in service in the following years, being also used by the SFOR contingent in Bosnia in the second half of the 1990s or even in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Many CUVS were also sold or donated to friendly countries such as Albania, Greece, Latvia or Lebanon.

The reference AK35030 represents the basic cargo truck version of the vehicle fitted with troop seats in the bed which may be assembled in folded or unfolded position. The tail gate can also be fixed as folded or unfolded, or remain movable. The decal sheet contains markings for two US Army, two US Navy and one SFOR vehicle, each of them carrying a different overall color or camouflage pattern.

Trabant, often referred to simply as Trabi, is a series of small passenger cars manufactured in the former East Germany and shortly after the unification. The model 601 was produced without major changes for over 25 years. With over 2.8M units built, it became the most popular vehicle in East Germany and, eventually, one of the symbols of the Eastern Blocs collapse after footage of thousands of East Germans crossing the border in their Trabants after the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 was broadcast all over the world.
The reference AK35032 represents the most common limousine variant as built in the second half of the 1980s, and features some optional elements fitted to the 601 S version such as the fog and reverse lights. Two types of emergency lights attached to the roof are also included. The decal sheet contains markings for six different vehicles, including the one featured in the popular German comedy movie from 1991.

CG125 Japanese Motorcycle 15,55 €

Honda's humble CG125 may be the toughest small-capacity motorcycle of all time.

The CG125 was never a powerhouse (it generated approximately 11 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque), but it was sufficient to handle basic transportation in Europe and developing countries.

It endured in the market with minor upgrades since the 1970s and not so much because of its engine displacement, but because of its reliability. The key to the CG125's success was its 124 cc four-stroke engine. The Japanese brand wanted to build a motorcycle that would work with minimal maintenance and it quickly became a very popular motorcycle worldwide.

The modeler can choose different configurations in the kit to suit the version you want to represent. This kit is perfect for building out of box or as an addition to a scene or diorama anywhere in the world since the 1970s.

IDF Power Wagon WM300 with Winch 31,95 €

Since the early days of the IDF the WW2 Dodge WC series had been widely used, with surplus trucks obtained from many places to fight in the 1948 and 1956 wars.

In the 1960s these old warriors started to wear out and still more trucks were needed in this class, so the replacement was yet another Dodge product, the Power Wagon.

Some civilian, closed cab Power Wagon WM300 had been in use for a while, mainly captured from Egypt, but the Power Wagon now supplied was the WM300 in soft-top type.

That was a cheap, simple, export type model, similar to the M601 offered to friendly countries under the Military Defense Assistance Program.

Starting in 1966, the trucks arrived in Israel as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) units, to be assembled and completed with Israeli-made parts at the new AIL (Automotive Industries Ltd.) factory in Nazareth.

The very early cargo body followed closely the old WC51 design from WW2, but was quickly replaced with a new Israeli design, far more practical, cheaper and easier to build, also to be used in its succesor, the Nun Nun M325.

The first combat use for the IDFs new Power Wagon (or Command Car as it was nicknamed) came in the 1967 Six-Day War, but it was the 1973 Yom Kippur War when it became widely seen.

There were also a few foreign users such as Uganda, Kenya and the South Lebanese Army.

These tough and reliable trucks became quite popular among troops for a myriad of uses, even if it was a most spartan and uncomfortable vehicle to ride in.

Citroen Type HY Commercial Van 40,95 €

After the end of World War II, the French brand Citroen developed a series of simple, affordable panel vans and light trucks initially known as the Type H. Their distinctive design featuring an extended nose, rear-hinged suicide cab doors, low flat floor and extensive use of corrugated metal body panels. Only subject to fairly minor changes throughout the 34 years of production, they have become iconic due to the popularity of these vehicles, of which over 473,000 units were manufactured.
The reference AK35035 represents the panel van from the Type HY series as manufactured from early 1964 to late 1969, with a single windscreen, short chevrons on the radiator grille, vertical handle on the sliding door, and square rear window. The decal sheet includes marking for four colorful vehicles used by private companies from France and the Netherlands.

Bottles and cans are obvious ingredients in dioramas or vignettes, but their addition may also spice up models not presented on any kind of base.

Our new kit offers 11 different types of bottles and canisters and 1 type of can, all molded in clear plastic.

Included are 6 pieces of each of the small and medium bottles and cans, and 2 pieces of each of the large canisters, making up a total of 60 elements which should be enough for detailing several models or dioramas.

The plastic parts are supplemented with high quality decals including various labels that have been printed by Cartograf.
