Extreme long barrel gun weight approx. 3000 kg, ammunition: iron balls from 12 to 24 pounds. (Source: Diez)
Cleanly worked plastic metal model. Without figures. Mounted, but partly removable for painting. Without protrusions. For 30 mm.
Scharfmetze, long cartaune, short cartaune and basilisk formed the 4 sexes of the "wall-breakers". It is to Maximilian's great credit that he created a mobile siege artillery consisting of 4 types, an achievement that was eagerly imitated in Germany after his death.
The field artillery, which had become a decisive factor in the military success of the lansquenets since 1500, was also reformed by the emperor and brought into 4 genders by standardising the calibres. The "Notschlange" was created as the heaviest calibre. Like all snakes, it was a long barrel gun for direct fire. Ammunition: iron ball 11 - 16 pounds, 8 horses had to be used for transport.
