Dutra D4K

The Dutra D4K B was a heavy, all-wheel-drive tractor produced at the Hungarian "Red Star" tractor factory. With its 90 hp 6-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of almost 8 litres, the Dutra was particularly suitable for heavy soil cultivation due to its top-heavy design. Manufactured from 1964, the D4K B very quickly replaced the very noisy and uncomfortable tracked tractors in the former GDR. The successor as a heavy tractor, the Kirovets K-700, could only be purchased by the agricultural production communities of the GDR if they could prove that a D4K had been scrapped in return. For this reason, almost the entire GDR stock of Dutra D4Ks was scrapped and the tractor is now one of the attractions at every tractor meeting. Schuco has dedicated a 1:43 scale miniature model to this legendary Dutra D4K in the PRO.R line. This series has established itself as a small series model line made of "Resin", which stands for exceptional and very delicate models. Thanks to this high-quality modelling material, it is possible to produce very rare and exotic prototype vehicles in perfect quality, even in small and exclusive editions.
