Like the VW Beetle, the Citroën 2 CV was also developed back in the 1930s. Over 5 million units of the French "Volkswagen" were manufactured during its production period, from 1948 to 1990. While an early "duck" with its 9 hp still reached a top speed of around 60 km/h, the last models with 29 hp were already capable of speeds of 115 km/h.
