Description
The B-24 "Liberator" was the most frequently built American aircraft during World War II. As a heavy bomber, submarine hunter, reconnaissance aircraft and as a transport plane, the "Liberator" was used on all fronts of the Second World War. Countless variants and modifications existed, some of which were made by the troops "in the field", others were already implemented in the factories at home. This volume shows in detail in words and pictures which differences, variants and modifications existed. The entire aircraft from nose to tail is examined and practically every difference is highlighted. A treasure trove for ambitious modellers and aircraft enthusiasts.
