For the North American Robert Edwin Peary, it was a national task to be the first to stand on the pole. It was his life's goal, which he tried to realise for 23 years. Together with his expedition team, Peary stood at the North Pole in early April 1909. On 6 April 1909, Peary wrote in his diary: "The Pole at last. My dream and goal for nearly twenty years. Mine at last!" In addition to the large plastic expedition ship, the pack contains the polar explorer Peary, his crew and an igloo. In front of the midnight sun, the explorers set off on the expedition together with Eskimos. Semi-plastic 35 mm Spenkuch figures (incl. plastic ship and accessories).
