The Panzerjägertruppe is a type of army troop specifically for anti-tank defence. Due to intra-military competencies in the Wehrmacht, the Panzerjägertruppe did not belong to the Panzertruppe, but developed from the äSturmartillerieô, which was assigned to the Artillerietruppe in terms of troop service.
