A detailed section is devoted to the extremely great interest of the Kriegsmarine in the "Kolibri" and its testing in the Navy as well as at the Travemünde test site (under "Verifiable Fl 282"), whereby the protocols are partly quoted verbatim. The testing of the Fl 282 at Bordfliegerstaffel 3/196 (for special aircraft) is also mentioned, with excerpts from the war diary of Bordfliegergruppe 196.
