Addition-curing 2-component silicone rubber that vulcanises at room temperature (RTV).
You receive the silicone in high-quality plastic squeeze bottles with dosing cap. This makes removal very easy and clean. The exact dosing is effortless, as you know it e.g. from comparable food packaging and is a clear improvement to the otherwise usual tinplate cans or wide-neck bottles.
Properties and application: - easy processing - problem-free mixing of the components 1:1 by weight - very good flowability, mixture is easy to pour - cross-linking to form resistant, elastic material without heat of reaction - short-term temperature resistant up to 150 ° C - high tear resistance and high flexibility - very high detail fidelity in reproduction - excellent anti-stick effect for easy release of the models - use e.g. in dental technology for dishing.E.g. in dental technology for duplicating and in model and mould making.

TFC Silicone Rubber Type 1 is very suitable for the production of demanding, elastic and hard-wearing moulds with pronounced undercuts.
TFC Silicone Rubber Type 1 can be used to produce single or multi-part moulds, for moulding original models made of wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax, ceramic casting compounds.
You can cast in the moulds produced with all water-soluble casting materials such as relief casting compounds such as Stewalin, Plastalin Super, Keraflott or plaster, Keramin, Alabit, modelling and model building plaster, casting clay, cement, concrete, etc.
Also soap casting compounds (soap glycerine) for the production of your own soap or wax for the production of candles are possible without any problems as well as casting with casting resins (resin). In this case you should pre-treat the mould with a release agent before casting, as casting resins can lead to brittleness of the mould after repeated casting.
The silicone has not been tested for skin and mucous membrane compatibility as well as for use in combination with foodstuffs. If you are looking for silicones to use in combination with food or body impressions, please ask us.
