Ragnar Lodbrok (Regner Lothbrog, Latinised Regnerus, Old Norse Ragnarr LobrËk) was a legendaryär Viking and king in Dänemark, said to have acted in the early 9th century. He is a hero in Norse antediluvian saga literature (Fornaldarsaga, see also Völsunga saga) and is said to have been the father of Halfdan, Ivar and Ubba Ragnarsson, among others.
