This volume deals with the warships of the Austro-Hungarian naval power in the First World War and their whereabouts. All battleships, armoured cruisers, cruisers, destroyers, torpedo boats and submarines of the Austro-Hungarian Navy, which was usually simply called k. u. k., i.e. Imperial and Royal Navy, existing or under construction at the time, are described in detail. This refers to the technical data, which are uniformly conveyed in tabular form, the construction history, the performance capabilities of the ships and their classification in the international fleet construction and type history of their time.
