Rolled concrete can be found everywhere in modern building construction. The cast-in steel mats reinforce the material. If a building is demolished, these steel struts become visible and usually rust very quickly.
This exact effect is now also possible in model making and dioramas: our concrete slabs also have a steel mat inside. If the slab is now broken - and in fact in the way the model builder wants it - then the steel mat becomes visible and can be individually adapted by bending and cutting off individual strands: Slab buildings, multi-storey buildings, bunkers are no problem and with a little imagination can be adapted to the diorama in no time.
