F-35C Lightning II

The JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) programme was launched to develop a new fifth-generation multi-role fighter capable of being a valid alternative to ground attack aircraft of the United States and NATO countries. This project resulted in the single-seat Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II aircraft. Equipped with exceptional technology, it is characterised by the use of an aerodynamic configuration with stealth characteristics and a trapezoidal wing. Designed for air superiority missions, close air support and ground attack, its fuselage can be customised in various configurations. The F-35A operates from conventional runways, the F-35B is designed for vertical take-off and landing, and the F-35C is ideal for conventional aircraft carrier operations. The F-35C is characterised in particular by its folding wingtips to optimise on-board storage, an arrestor hook and a reinforced nose landing gear suitable for catapult take-offs from US Navy aircraft carriers.

- The self-assembly is accompanied by step-by-step and illustrated assembly instructions. The assembly instructions are of course included in the scope of delivery.
- The precisely fitting individual parts must be assembled on the basis of the assembly instructions. The parts can be painted according to your own ideas.
- Tools, glue and paint are not included with the plastic kit. These must be purchased as an option.
