In fresh yellow-green, the Moskwitsch 408 now reappears in the Herpa range. It was built from 1964 to 1969 in the former Soviet Union by the "Awtomobilnij Sawod imeni Leninskogo Komsomola" or in German "Automobilfabrik Leninscher Komsomol". It was the third generation of the vehicle series and the direct successor of the 403, which is also available as a Herpa model. Compared to the 403, the 408 was also modernised on the outside and equipped with a four-speed gearbox, larger windows, higher front and rear windows and 15-inch wheels.
