What a view in 1929: four engines, huge dimensions, the thick wings that could hold cargo and passengers. In short: the largest passenger aircraft of its time. A technical daring that resulted in a high production price. In the end, only two aircraft were built in Germany. Six more followed under licence in Japan. It is high time to honour this aviation sensation with this richly illustrated volume.
