Perhaps not the most beautiful design, but reliable, efficient, and capable of performing its tasks in all weather conditions, day and night. The Sea King was manufactured by Agusta under license from Sikorsky and enabled the Italian Navy to make a huge operational leap forward. Originally designed for anti-submarine warfare, it later successfully carried out SAR (search and rescue) missions, saved countless lives, monitored fishing, infiltrated and exfiltrated commandos, supported landing operations, and transported personnel and cargo aboard fleet ships. The 136-page volume is richly illustrated with over 350 images, most of which are previously unpublished. Enthusiasts can explore the four different versions that were in service: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta. There are 27 pages of walkthroughs and 9 pages dedicated to model building.
