Hill 112 occupies a special place in the history of the Normandy battles of 1944. Extremely fierce battles between the British and Germans were fought around this hill, in the course of which strong armoured forces were also deployed on both sides. The background, course and consequences of the battle around Hill 112 at the beginning of July 1944 are traced in detail. A large number of historical black-and-white photos, current colour photographs of the battlefields of that time, colour illustrations of unit insignia, pieces of uniform and equipment as well as maps make up the visual presentation.
