Der Einsatz im Mittelmeerraum - November 1941 bis Dezember 1942. The first section of this volume documents the operations of the 53rd and 77th Fighter Squadrons as well as the Erprobungskommando 19 in the Mediterranean from late 1941 to late 1942. Section 2 then deals with Jagdgeschwader 4, which was in action in Romania from April to December 1942, where it was jointly responsible for the defence of the Ploesti oil area.
