Too many wrong decisions on the German side favoured the advance of the Allied units. In the chapter "The Battle of Trekkopje on 26 April 1915", such mistakes are impressively described. In this battle, the German opponents used wheeled tanks for the first time, which left a lasting impression among the German cavalry units. This is followed by the chapter "The Raid on Otjimbingwe", where the author also informs the reader about glaring mistakes on the German side. It comes as it had to, Karibib is occupied and then the Schutztruppe has to surrender Windhoek to the enemy. Doubts about commander Victor Franke grow.
