Description
This illustrated book presents a large number of contemporary b/w photographs of the heavy German battle and fighter tanks. The focus is on the "Tiger" I and "Tiger" II, but predecessors such as the "Elefant" or "Ferdinand" fighter tank or the mighty "Jagdtiger" can also be seen here. In addition to the photos, the work contains plates with coloured vehicle profiles documenting the main variants of the "Tiger" as well as the paint schemes used. The text explains the technical development of the heavy German battle tanks in World War II and their influence on the fighting on the various World War II fronts.
