Description
In 1807, after Tilsit, Napoleon was at the height of his power. Portugal, as England's ally, did not represent a significant opponent for France from the French point of view due to its low military and political strength. Under General Junot's command, the invasion of the Iberian Peninsula began. However, the strategic situation was quickly reversed by the landing of the English under the leadership of Arthur Wellesley.
