Volume 1: The Exhibition; Volume 2: The Essays. On the occasion of the 300th birthday of Prussia's most famous monarch, the Foundation "Prussian Palaces and Gardens Berlin-Brandenburg" is organising a large exhibition in the New Palace and Sanssouci Park, which presents the life and work of Frederick II of Prussia in many facets. The exhibition is accompanied by this two-volume work, consisting on the one hand of the exhibition catalogue, and on the other hand of an extensive anthology with essays by specialist authors on the most varied aspects of the life and work of the Prussian king.
