It begins as usual with an overview of the coastal batteries, the harbour sector, the Levante sector and the Ponente sector with a list of all the defences still in place on the coast and inland. Then there is the failure of the British landing attempt at Cala Pulcino with the story of the two Italian soldiers who killed two British commandos at gunpoint.

Then there is the story of the Italian command on Monte Imbriacole, the field hospital no. 870 on Lampedusa, the reports of Major Pietro Assenza and many other soldiers, such as those of the two L-armoured trains. There is the story of the two M.A.S. boats that sank and a brief mention of the sighting net and the German radar at Lampedusa airport.
