In this unique treatise, the Mosin-Nagant rifles are described comprehensively and in detail from the first Russian M. 91 rifles built in Chatellerault/France to the Soviet M. 1944 carbines still produced after the Second World War. Among other things, variants almost unknown in the Western world are mentioned. The Mosin-Nagant rifles manufactured or modified abroad from 1923 onwards, especially in Finland and the countries of the former Eastern Bloc, are also discussed.
