Description
Everyone surely knows James Bond's Walther PPK. Or can you imagine a film about the Second World War in Europe without the "Nullacht"? Or a Hollywood film without a Beretta pistol? It is hard to imagine modern culture without pistols and revolvers, but very few people know about their origins. The focus of this book is on the weapons of the Wehrmacht. Weapons of prey are also dealt with, insofar as they were used. Nations such as Japan, whose designs were based on those of the West but differed in details, are also included.
